Frequently asked questions
Q. What time is check-in?
A. Friday 2pm. Saturday 2pm. If you’re staying for 1 night and have booked Mansion Brunch then you can arrive and check in earlier (from 11am)
Q. What time and where does coach depart?
A. Friday 12pm Registration – Outside / Near Pret A Manger, Kingsway, Holborn. WC2B 6UF
Q. How do we book the spa/pool?
A. You’ll be able to book a slot on arrival at the hotel.
Q. Where do activities and parties take place?
A. The Rewind Party and the Brunch take place in the Mansion. All other activities and the NYE Party take place in Wokefield Suite.

Wokefield Suite – Fri 6pm Dinner, Sat 8am Breakfast, 12pm lunch and 6.30pm NYE Dinner. Sun – 8am Breakfast

Q. What about food after the event?
A. You’ll be able to purchase on the night from external caterers!
Q. Can overnight guests bring our own drinks in?
A. Yes for overnight guests to your room! However, please note ‘no bottle in public areas’ policy below. Party only guests strictly no external drinks.

Note we aim to get you to the hotel just before 2.00pm to maximise your time spent with us. If coaches arrive much earlier then there may be a short wait before we can check you in.
Car /Train Directions & Parking
The Estate is located at: Goodboys Lane, Reading RG7 3AE
Train
Reading Station is located 7 miles from Wokefield Estate. Journey time to London Paddington is just 50 minutes on the new Elizabeth Line, with up to six trains an hour.
Drivers
For travel by car, please use our postcode (RG7 3AE) or what3words: ///hoping.opera.cafe to find the hotel.
Parking is free. See estate map below for all parking locations.
On entry drivers should take the left at the first roundabout for Wokefield Place [33] to collect wristband and keys from the main building. Guests for Wokefield should park there.
Mansion House [22] and Wellington Lodge [29] guests can then drive back to the roundabout and take the exit towards parking spaces [P] for those buildings.
Hotel Check-in: 2.00PM
You’ll need photo ID for wristbands (A picture on your phone is fine – no need to bring the original)
Hotel Room Information
We’re unable to facilitate requests for specific rooms / room types / room sizes unless you require an accessible room.
Pool & Spa bookings
You can book the spa on arrival at the hotel reception. There will be a pool aerobics session with Julzs at some point during the weekend!
Don’t forget your swim wear!
Dining & Breakfast
Wokefield Suite – Fri 6pm Dinner, Sat 8am Breakfast, 12pm lunch and 6.30pm NYE Dinner. Sun – 8am Breakfast
Mansion House – Sat 8am Breakfast, 12pm Brunch (upgrade). Sun 8am Breakfast
2 night packages include 5 meals. 2 x breakfast, 1 x lunch and 2 x dinner.

- The Mansion Brunch is an optional upgrade on Saturday and includes an extra course (dessert) as well as the bottomless hour.
- Dress code: There will be casual dining and smarter dress areas for dining on New Years Eve.
- Smart dress area: No specific code, just imagine you’re going to a friends birthday dinner!
- Please pre register on the Workshops registration page if you intend on dressing up for New Year’s Eve dinner.
- After the Parties there will be food/snacks available to purchase.
Daytime entertainment
We endeavour to provide numerous opportunities to interact and socialise with other attendees through games and entertainment! Come down and get interactive!!!
The Avenue is the hub of the weekend where we’ll have games consoles and board games with team games hosted by Team Sareal Unwind. Upstairs we have a movie room showing series/ classics all day, downstairs a sports bar section showing the weekend’s fixtures, Icebreaker hour on Friday and Game/Comedy show on Saturday … all this before the Mansion Brunch and two Themed parties!

Enhance your experience! We’ve put on a series of masterclasses and workshops for you to enjoy on both days. The sessions all take place in Wokefield Suite and are limited in capacity! (We will try to add extra sessions where slots fill up)

Themed Parties
Drinks Policy
Important drink policy for overnight guests.
Bottles of drink cannot be carried between hotel room and public area’s – this includes The Avenue and all conference rooms in Wokefield Suite and Mansion House
This is a strict health and safety requirement that will be enforced by our security team.
For the avoidance of doubt, once you’re checked in, your own bottles (glass/plastic) must remain in your room so they can be disposed of by housekeeping after the event. Bottles purchased at the bar must remain in the party area’s so they can be disposed of by bar staff once empty.
